Cherry Fireball Jello Shot Directions

Step 1: The first thing you want to do is add the plastic cups to a cookie sheet, baking pan or muffin tin. This is a super easy way to move the plastic cups to the refrigerator.

Step 2: Add 2 cups of water to a medium saucepan, and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Step 3: Remove pan from the heat, and whisk in the packet of cherry jello mix to the hot water, stirring until dissolved.

Step 4: Add 1 cup cold water and 1 cup of Fireball whiskey. Stir and let the mixture cool for just a couple of minutes.

Step 5: Pour the jello mixture evenly into plastic shot cups.

Tip: I like to pour the Jello mixture into a large measuring cup and then pour into my small plastic cups.

Step 6: Move to the refrigerator to chill for at least 4 hours, until Jello is set.

Step 7: Before serving, remove a bit of the Jello from the center of the cups with a knife. Place a maraschino cherry in the middle.

We love the fiery cinnamon taste with the cherry flavored jello. This is one of our favorite easy jello shots. You could serve these at just about any party. The red color makes them perfect for a Christmas party or Valentine’s day, you could do them for a Halloween party, or any adult party, really. The possibilities are endless and you will get the best compliments!

Tip: For the best results, keep these refrigerated until ready to serve. I find that at room temperature, my jello shots can often melt.
