This White Chocolate Covered Cherry Cocktail is the perfect cocktail for Valentine’s Day. It is made with white chocolate liqueur and cherry grenadine (or you can use maraschino cherry juice) to make a fun ombre cocktail.

Why we love this cocktail:

  • It is so festive for Valentine’s Day or an anniversary. Perfect to enjoy together.
  • The white chocolate and small amount of grenadine go so good together. It really gives us chocolate-covered cherries vibes with a white chocolate twist.

White Chocolate Covered Cherry Cocktail Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ice
  • 3 oz. vodka
  • 4 oz. white chocolate liqueur
  • 3 oz. heavy cream
  • 1 oz. grenadine
  • Corn syrup for rimming the glass
  • Red sanding sugar sprinkles for rimming the glass
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Heart sprinkles for topping

Directions:

Step 1: To rim the glasses, add a shallow layer of corn syrup to a shallow saucer, and to a second saucer, add a shallow layer of red sanding sugar.

Step 2: Dip the rim of the glass into the corn syrup, letting the excess drip off, and then dip into the sanding sugar.

Step 3: To a cocktail shaker, add ice, vodka, white chocolate liqueur, and heavy cream. Shake to combine and chill.

Step 4: Pour the mixture evenly between two glasses, then add about ½ oz of grenadine to each glass.

Step 5: Top with whipped cream and heart sprinkles.

Substitution Ideas:

  • Swap the regular vodka in this cocktail for cherry vodka! Whipped cream vodka would also be delicious!
  • Grenadine is made with cherry and pomegranate juices, but you can also use the leftover juice from a jar of maraschino cherries, or a cherry liqueur.
  • You can use any Godiva chocolate liqueur, but for the white and pink drink, you’ll want to use white chocolate.

  • Uplevel this drink by adding a swirl of chocolate syrup or topping with chocolate shavings.
  • Serve this drink in any glassware you like, we recommend a tulip glass or martini glass!
