This frozen Strawberry Mudslide recipe is so good, and while we really made it with Valentine’s Day in mind, it is perfect any time you want to enjoy a frosted mudslide drink! We made this recipe with fresh strawberries, coffee liqueur, and Baileys Irish cream liqueur. It turned out so delicious and I can’t wait to share the recipe!

Frozen Strawberry Mudslide

How Do You Make a Frozen Mudslide?

The best way to make a frozen mudslide is by adding ice cream, usually vanilla. You could use ice, but I much prefer the texture, and flavor, when ice cream is added!

This mudslide cocktail is more of an adult milkshake, really, perfect for a Valentine’s Day happy hour, a boozy dessert, or on a hot Summer day. Here’s what we used to make it-

Frozen Strawberry Mudslide

Frozen Strawberry Mudslide Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce Kahlua
  • 1 ounce Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 1 ounce vodka
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Valentine’s Day (or any pink) sprinkles, optional

Directions-

Step 1: In a blender, combine 2 scoops ice cream, Baileys, Kahlua, vodka, and frozen strawberries. Blend until smooth.

Step 2: Pour the shake into your favorite glass, and add an additional scoop of ice cream (optional).

Step 3: Top with whipped cream and sprinkles. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • For a little extra pizazz, drizzle chocolate syrup onto the inside of your glass for that classic mudslide look.
  • You can use any flavor vodka you like- we used regular, but whipped cream vodka, vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry flavored vodkas would be delicious!
  • You could also swap the vanilla ice cream for strawberry ice cream for even more strawberry flavor!
  • Add a couple drops of red food coloring for a super pink mudslide!
  • For a non-alcoholic frozen mudslide, omit the Kahlua, Baileys, and vodka. Add in a couple of ounces of brewed coffee and a splash of milk! To still get some of that Baileys flavor, add in some irish cream coffee creamer (non-alcoholic!).
  • If you can get your hands on it, the seasonal Baileys Strawberries and Cream Liqueur would also be a delicious addition to this recipe, or just substitute the regular Baileys used.
Frozen Strawberry Mudslide

The mudslide is one of my favorite drinks, personally, and I hope you enjoy this fun frozen twist. It makes a truly creamy cocktail full of vanilla and strawberry flavors combined with our favorite Kahlua and Bailey’s.
