Strawberry Lemonade Mimosas
We thoroughly enjoyed these strawberry lemonade mimosas! They are the perfect mimosa for Summer. Not to be confused with our Pink Lemonade Mimosas, these feature a strawberry simple syrup, delicious Simply lemonade, and our favorite champagne! Let’s talk about how to make them!
As I mentioned these mimosas are easy to make with just a few ingredients. Strawberry simple syrup is easy to make, plus lemonade (we love Simply lemonade), and your favorite champagne. Our first step is to make the strawberry simple syrup, which can be stored at room temperature for up to a week!
How to Make Strawberry Simple Syrup
To make it, you just need 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 2 cups frozen or fresh strawberries. Start by combining the sugar and water in a medium sauce pan, cooking on medium heat, until sugar is dissolved. Add the strawberries, and turn the heat up a bit until they are boiling. Reduce heat slightly, and boil 5-6 minutes.
Then, use a mesh strainer over top of a large measuring cup or mixing bowl to strain the syrup off of the strawberries, pressing on the strawberries to get all of that yumminess through.
You can store this in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. It is delicious in cocktails, and on pancakes or waffles. Yum!
Once you have your syrup made, it’s time for mimosas!
How to Make Strawberry Lemonade Mimosas
Start by adding 2-3 tbsp of your strawberry syrup to your champagne flute.
Then, fill the glass to the halfway point with your pre-made lemonade.
Fill the remainder with champagne.
What kind of champagne for Strawberry Lemonade Mimosas?
You can use the same champagne we use for our classic mimosas, a dry brute champagne is totally fine. However, one thing we love about Barefoot Bubbly is the different flavors they have. Their Moscato version is delicious, and would add some sweet bubbles to this mimosa with all of its fruity notes. Totally your choice, though.
Finally, garnish your strawberry lemonade mimosas with fresh lemons or strawberries.
