The mimosa is one of my favorite cocktails, ever! There are so many delicious variations and this Strawberry Mimosa recipe is no exception. It’s so simple. Instead of fussing with a strawberry puree, we blended the strawberries up right with the orange juice! Then, we added brut champagne (you can do sparkling wine or a dry prosecco- whatever you prefer! This bubbly drink is amazing, perfect for brunch, and just about any other special occasion. Whether you are celebrating Valentine’s Day or having a Mother’s Day breakfast, everyone will love this easy mimosa. It’s perfect for bridal showers, wedding showers, and more! Let’s talk about how to make this fun twist on the traditional orange mimosa.

  • It takes one of our favorite classic cocktails and gives it a whole new flavor and experience. The addition of fresh strawberries really takes this mimosa to the next level.
  • It doesn’t get much better than to take a classic mimosa recipe and add fresh berries into the mix. Talk about Spring time in a glass, you might enjoy these during the Spring and Summer months, or any time of the year if you love mimosas as much as I do!

Strawberry Mimosa Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, green tops removed
  • 1 ½ cups orange juice (any is fine but take this drink to the next level by using fresh-squeezed orange juice!)
  • 750 ml champagne, or prosecco
  • Fresh strawberries and orange slices for garnish

Note: If using fresh squeezed orange juice, you may want to add a bit of sugar, honey or simple syrup.

Directions:

Step 1: In your blender, combine strawberries and orange juice, blend.

Optional: Run the orange and strawberry mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove any strawberry seeds or bits left behind from blending.

Step 2: Divide strawberry orange juice blend evenly between your champagne flutes. Or, if making just one, fill 1/2 of the way. Store the remainder in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Step 3: Fill your champagne flute the rest of the way with champagne.

Step 4: Garnish with fresh strawberries or orange slices.

Substitutions & Tips:

  • You can make this a strawberry mimosa mocktail by swapping the alcohol for sparkling grape juice!
  • You can use any kind of champagne, prosecco, or sparkling wine for these mimosas- whatever you prefer. Our favorite champagnes that are easy on the budget are Korbel Brut and Barefoot Bubbly Brut Cuvee.
  • This is a big batch recipe! But, you can easily make your orange/strawberry juice and store it in the refrigerator for up to 4 days in an airtight container. Whenever you want a mimosa, just add one part champagne, one part orange/strawberry juice to your champagne glass.
