Frozen Peach Margarita

We have so many different margaritas here on the blog, but this Frozen Peach Margarita has to be one of my favorites. It is so easy to make with frozen peaches. You don’t have to wait for peaches to be in season to enjoy this refreshing, frosty margarita. It’s so simple, and we can blend up a few at a time in our blender. Here’s how to make them.

Frozen Peach Margarita

Frozen Peach Margarita Ingredients

Frozen Peach Margarita ingredients
  • 1 cups frozen peaches
  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 oz. lime juice
  • 3 oz. tequila
  • 1 oz. triple sec
  • 2 tbsp. Agave
  • Salt for garnish
  • Fresh limes and fresh or frozen peach slices for garnish

This is one of my favorite cocktails I’ve made. I’m typically not a big peach fan, but using the frozen peaches really turned this into a fun adults-only frosty treat. The agave adds a touch of sweetness, and the salt rim really adds to the presentation of these. You can use a salt mixture designed for rimming, or even sugar, if you don’t like the salt flavor with your margarita. This would even be yummy rimmed with something like tajin chili lime seasoning for a kick.

Peach Margarita Directions

1. In your blender, combine peaches, ice, lime juice, tequila, triple sec, and agave.

2. Blend well.

3. To rim the glasses, add a layer of salt to a saucer. Run a wedge of lime along the edge of the glass, and dip in the salt.

Peach Margarita FAQs

Can I use fresh peaches?

You absolutely can use fresh peaches in this recipe! To make it frozen you could actually freeze some fresh peach slices, or just include ice while blending. I’d do 2/3 peaches and 1/3 ice, just enough to make it frosty without watering down the peaches!

Do I have to use agave?

Agave is wonderful and stays good for a while, it is definitely worth the buy for your cocktail bar, but you do not have to have it, necessarily. A good substitution would be to use simple syrup. To make simple syrup, simply combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a small sauce pan and heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved. For best results, chill the simple syrup before using.
