You guys, this drink has got the holiday season written all over it. I combined two of my favorite things- hot cocoa, and Kahlua to whip up a delicious Kahlua Hot Chocolate.

This drink is simple to make, right on your stove top. You could even let these ingredients warm in your crock pot for a big batch of hot cocoa for a crowd.

Kahlua Hot Chocolate

There is nothing better in the evening than a yummy drink, especially when the weather is cooler outside. The Kahlua gives this hot cocoa a fun kick, not to mention it makes for an extra yummy hot chocolate. Kahlua is one of my favorite liqueurs to work with, you can make so many delicious things. It is a staple in my home around the holidays, especially.

Kahlua Hot Chocolate

Here’s what you’ll need for these-

• 6 cups of whole milk
• 4 tbsp sugar
• 4 tbsp cocoa powder
• 4 oz. Kahlua

To make it-

• In a large pot, whisk together milk, sugar, and cocoa powder.
• Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the mixture begins to simmer and is heated through.
• Remove from heat, stir in Kahlua
• Top with your favorite cocoa toppings- caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, marshmallows, etc…

It doesn’t get much easier than that for delicious, boozy Kahlua Hot Chocolate.
