It is almost pumpkin season, can you believe it? We have cooler mornings in the forecast for this week, and I am so excited. This pumpkin flavored treat is perfect for early Fall when it is still a bit warm out, but you are feeling the Fall and pumpkin spirit, anyway. Pumpkin puree and vanilla ice cream make this delicious Pumpkin Pie Milkshake, full of the best flavors of Fall.

Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

I might be a bit obsessed with all of the pumpkin recipes on our site, but this is definitely one of my favorites. The kids really love this pumpkin treat, too.

How to make a Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

Here’s what you’ll need to make it-

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream (Blue Bell if you are in the South, HELLO)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • whipped cream for garnish
  • extra pumpkin pie spice for garnish

This recipe makes 2 shakes.

To make it, combine vanilla ice cream, pumpkin puree, milk, and pumpkin pie spice in a blender. Blend well. Add extra milk if the milkshake is too thick, or ice cream if it is too thin, to your preference. I love using my Ninja blender for these, I don’t use the bullet but just the regular blender, and it is definitely my go-to when it comes to shakes, smoothies, and more.

I love the flavors of this shake, not too much pumpkin, but just enough, and it goes wonderfully with the vanilla ice cream.
