We are a bit obsessed with these fun jell-o shots. These Gingerbread Cookie jello Shots are adorable, and so festive, perfect for the holiday season. We made these cute gingerbread jello shots with Baileys, Buttershots, vodka, and a homemade gingerbread syrup! I have directions for that below as well, it is delicious, and perfect for holiday cocktails, like our Gingerbread Cookie Cocktail, as well. We topped these shots with a super cute festive sprinkle mix, complete with tiny little gingerbread men. Imagine serving these at an adult gingerbread house competition, or any fun holiday parties. So much fun!

Gingerbread Cookie Jello Shots

These delicious jello shots are made to taste like gingerbread Christmas cookies! You are going to love them. Here’s what you’ll need-

Gingerbread Cookie Jello Shots Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • ¼ Cup Butterscotch Schnapps
  • ½  cup vodka
  • ¼ cup Gingerbread Simple Syrup
  • ½ cup cold water
  • 2 envelopes Knox gelatin packets (or other unflavored gelatin powder)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • Whipped cream
  • Gingerbread or other Christmas sprinkles
  • 18 plastic jello shot cups (also called condiment cups, we find these at Walmart, or on Amazon!)

Directions:

Step 1: Place your plastic shot glasses onto a baking pan or cookie sheet, for easy moving to the refrigerator.

Step 2: In a large bowl, add Baileys, Butterscotch Schnapps, Vodka, gingerbread simple syrup, and cold water. Stir to combine.

Step 3: Whisk in 2 envelopes of Knox gelatin, stirring until dissolved.

Step 4: Pour in 2 cups boiling water, stirring again to combine everything.

Step 5: Pour the gelatin mixture evenly into cups, and move to the refrigerator to chill for 2-3 hours.

Step 6: Before serving, top with whipped cream and sprinkles. Enjoy!

How to Make Gingerbread Simple Syrup

Gingerbread Simple Syrup Ingredients-

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp. Molasses
  • 1 tsp. Ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon

Directions:

Combine water and sugar in a medium sauce pan. Heat, stirring frequently, until sugar dissolves. Stir in molasses, ground ginger, and cinnamon. Heat 2-3 minutes more until everything is steamy and combined. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.

  • ½ cup Baileys Irish Cream
