Peppermint Bark Mimosa

This Peppermint Bark Mimosa is such a fun, festive Christmas cocktail. They’re easy to whip up, you’ll just need peppermint schnapps, prosecco, and a whole candy cane. We also rimmed these with melted chocolate to complete the peppermint bark effect. Your guests will love this cocktail for the holiday season.

Peppermint Bark Mimosa

This cocktail is the perfect festive cocktail to use up any leftover candy canes. They start to melt once they’re in the champagne flute, adding a touch of sweetness to the drink!

Peppermint Bark Mimosa Ingredients:

  • About 1 ounce of Peppermint Schnapps (more or less to taste, for less peppermint flavor, add just a splash.)
  • 5 ounces of Prosecco or champagne
  • 1/4 cup melted chocolate chips
  • Candy cane garnish

Directions:

Step 1: To rim the champagne flute, add a shallow layer of the melted chocolate to a small plate (or a bowl). (You can dip a few at a time if you plan to make more than one mimosa!)

Step 2: Dip rims of champagne flutes into the melted chocolate, and allow it to set. You’ll want to hold them upright for a bit, moving them around so the chocolate doesn’t run while it sets.

Step 3: To each champagne flute, add about 5 oz. of your champagne or prosecco.

Step 4: Add Peppermint Schnapps, as desired.

Step 5: Garnish with a whole candy cane!

Peppermint Bark Mimosa

This delicious peppermint bark mimosa is one of our favorite holiday cocktails. It is perfect for Christmas eve, a holiday brunch, or serving at your Christmas party.

Tips:

  • You can also add crushed candy canes to the rim of this drink! Simply take a separate plate, and add a layer of candy canes, then dip in those after dipping into the chocolate! You’ll want 2-3 full candy canes in order to have enough for dipping.
