Christmas Cookie Cocktail
I have another fun and festive dessert cocktail for you today! This Christmas Cookie Cocktail Recipe has a secret ingredient that makes it taste just like Christmas cookies! Serve these up on Christmas eve, or any time this holiday season. Let’s talk about what you need for this yummy cocktail.
Why we love this cocktail-
- We love dessert cocktails on this site, and this one is no exception. It is a creamy drink full of sugar cookie flavor, perfect for any holiday party.
- This drink is really reminiscent of our favorite White Russians we have made, but with a fun twist that really makes this perfect for the Christmas festivities.
Christmas Cookie Cocktail Recipe Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Frosted Sugar Cookie flavored coffee creamer (we used the seasonal one from International Delight)
- 1 oz. vodka
- 1 oz. heavy cream
- 1 oz. Kahula
- 1 tbsp. Vanilla frosting
- Whipped cream for topping
- Christmas sprinkles
- Ice
Substitution Options:
Vodka– You can use any flavor of vodka you like in this delicious cocktail, this recipe would be delicious with vanilla vodka, whipped cream vodka, or even a cake vodka. Yum!
Liqueurs– We just opted for Kahlua in this drink, but you could always add additional if you like the flavors, think Rumchata, irish cream liqueur, white chocolate liqueur, etc.. They would all be delicious!
Heavy Cream– If the heavy cream is too heavy for you, or you don’t have any on hand, you could also use half and half or even whole milk!
We skipped the cocktail shaker for this drink, sometimes the best way to make a drink is to mix everything right in the glass.
Directions:
Step 1: To rim the cocktail glass, add a layer of Christmas sprinkles to a small plate.
Step 2: Then, add a thin layer of frosting to the rim of your glass. Dip the frosting layer into the sprinkles. The frosting and sprinkles on the rim of the glass really takes this drink to the next level.
Step 3: Add ice to your glass, followed by creamer, vodka, half and half, then Kahlua. Give the drink a gentle stir to combine.
Step 4: Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of Christmas sprinkles. Enjoy!
FAQs-
How do I make a Christmas Cookie Martini?
Turn this cocktail into a Christmas martini by swapping the Kahlua for Irish Cream and Amaretto di Amore, or, just make this same cocktail into a martini glass! You may need to alter the ingredient amounts to get it to fit, but it does make for a really spectacular presentation. Don’t forget the sprinkle rim!
This sugar cookie cocktail recipe is sure to quickly become one of your new favorites with its creamy texture, it is a sweet cocktail you really have to try. I think that this frosted sugar cookie creamer from International Delight really tastes like an actual cookie, it is my favorite to use during the holiday season, so I’m really enjoying incorporating it into more of our cocktails and dessert drinks.
