Apple Pie Shot Recipe Ingredients:

We made these apple pie shots with fireball and vodka, here’s the full list of what you’ll need to make them-

  • 1 ½ oz. whipped vodka
  • 1 ½ oz. Fireball
  • 3 oz. apple cider
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Ground cinnamon for topping
  • Cinnamon sticks for garnish, optional

Variations & Substitutions:

  • Apple Cider – Don’t care for cider? Sub apple juice for this ingredient!
  • Liquor- You can use any different liquors you prefer, really. The whipped vodka and apple cider combination is what really gives these the apple pie flavors, but you could use apple vodka, apple whiskey, vanilla vodka, butterscotch schnapps, cinnamon schnapps, there are so many options! The fireball adds a little heat and that cinnamon flavor, but it’s totally up to you if you want that in your shot. Bourbon or another whiskey would also be delicious, and you could even opt for a white rum, or a spiced rum. Feel free to make these your own!
  • Topping- These would also be delicious topped with some caramel sauce for a caramel apple pie recipe.
  • Spices- You can substitute the cinnamon in this recipe for an apple pie spice for more of that pie flavor.
  • Sweetness- You can add some sweetness to your shots or cocktails by adding a bit of simple syrup.

How to Make an Apple Pie Shot

Grab (3) 2 oz. shot glasses. To each shot glass add 1 oz. apple cider, followed by ½ oz. whipped cream vodka and ½ oz. Fireball. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle cinnamon on top of the shot. Garnish with a cinnamon stick, if desired.
