Boozy Grinch Punch

Here’s what you’ll need to make this Grinch holiday punch recipe-

Green Berry Rush Hawaiian Punch– this green punch gives us the perfect bright green color that is a must have for a proper Grinch drink.

Lemon-lime soda– we used Sprite, this gives us the bubbles for this delicious party punch.

Lime sherbet– you can’t have a sherbet punch without the sherbet, we used lime flavored punch to stick with the green color, but any white or light colored sherbet would work perfectly.

Vodka– the booze in this boozy Grinch punch! You can skip this, for a family friendly version.

Red sanding sugar or sprinkles– we dressed up our glasses with a red sugar sprinkle rim.

Maraschino cherries– it wouldn’t be a Grinch punch without something to remind us of the Grinch’s heart.

How to make Boozy Grinch Punch-

Step 1: Add the sherbet to your punch bowl or pitcher.

Step 2: Add in the Sprite, giving the bubbles time to settle.

Step 3: Add the Hawaiian Punch, and vodka, if you are using it.

Step 4: Before serving, rim the glasses with sugar sprinkles by adding a shallow layer of sprinkles to a plate. We do sweet rim garnishes by also using corn syrup, in a shallow layer on another plate, dipping the glass into the corn syrup, and then the sprinkles. You could also just run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass before dipping into the sprinkles.

Step 5: Add the punch to your glass, and top with a maraschino cherry.

Tips & Tricks:

  • You can use any soda for this recipe, we find that the lemon-lime goes well with a lot of different flavors, but you could also use ginger ale or something similar.
  • You can use any clear liquor- even white rum or tequila in place of the vodka, or skip the booze completely for a family-friendly punch.
  • This recipe works great for any time you need a fun green drink to serve- like St. Patrick’s Day, simply skip the red sprinkles and the cherry.
