Blueberry Vodka Lemonade Shooters
I have another super fun patriotic cocktail for Summer- Blueberry Vodka Lemonade Shooters! This recipe can be used to make shooters or you can triple the ingredients one large drink. I used Calypso Ocean Blue Lemonade for these, but again you can alter them with what you have. I’ll have lots of suggestions below if you can’t get your hands on the Calypso. The star of these really is Smirnoff’s Red White and Berry Vodka. There are endless delicious drinks you can make with this base, but our favorite to add is lemonade.
What to Mix with Smirnoff Red White and Berry
The Smirnoff Red White and Berry is a blend of cherries, citrus, and blue raspberry, so any lemonade/berry combination will be delicious mixed in with it. We used Calypso Ocean Blue Lemonade, which I’ve found is at most gas stations nearby, and at some bigger Walmart stores and Target Supercenters. However, here are a few different mixers you could use, in case you can’t find it near you.
For these, you can get the fun blue color by adding a splash of Blue Curacao if you have it on hand.
Also, anything blue raspberry would be great mixed with the Red White and Berry, along with any lemonade. I always love Simply Lemonade, but you can even make your own homemade lemonade from scratch, or the good old fashioned way with Country Time and some sugar. Fanta Berry and Minute Maid Blue Raspberry are great options to do half and half with your lemonade in place of the Calypso Ocean Blue. Yum!

Alright, so to make these shooters here’s what you’ll need-
- Calypso Ocean Blue Lemonade
- Red White and Berry Vodka
- Maraschino Cherries
- Patriotic Sprinkles
- Honey or corn syrup
To make them, start by taking two shallow dishes or saucers, and adding a thin layer of the corn syrup (or honey) to one dish, and a layer of patriotic sprinkles to the other. Dip your shot glasses into the corn syrup, and then into the sprinkles.
Next, fill 1/2 of the shot glass with Smirnoff Red White and Berry Vodka. Fill the rest of the way with your blue/berry lemonade of choice. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
