These layered Valentine’s Day jello shots are so much fun, and perfect for your Valentine’s Day Party or Galentine’s party!

We used two different jello flavors for these fun and festive shots, plus we topped them with whipped cream and some super cute Valentine’s Day sprinkles.

Valentine’s Day Jello Shots Ingredients:

  • 1 box (6 oz) of Cherry Jello
  • 1 box (6 oz) of Pink Starburst Jello
  • 4 cups of water, boiling, divided
  • 2 cups cold water, divided
  • 2 cups vodka, chilled
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Valentine’s Day sprinkles for topping

Directions:

Step 1: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from the heat. Whisk in pink starburst jello, stirring until dissolved.

Step 2: Add 1 cup cold water and 1 cup of vodka and stir to combine. Set the jello aside to cool for a few minutes.

Step 3: Take your shot glasses and pour them halfway full with the pink starburst jello to make the first layer. Move them to the refrigerator to chill for 2 hours.

Step 4: Once that layer has set, make the red layer. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from the heat and whisk in cherry jello, stirring until dissolved.

Step 5: Add 1 cup of cold water and 1 cup of vodka, stir. Give this jello mixture about 20 minutes or so to cool before pouring over the pink layer.

Step 6: Once you’ve added your 2nd layer, move the shots to the refrigerator to chill for another 2 hours before serving.

Step 7: Once it is time to serve, top with whipped cream and festive sprinkles. Enjoy!

This is such a tasty shot, with the pink jello from starburst and cherry flavor jello combined. These are perfect for your adults only Valentine’s party or just to enjoy during a special evening with your special someone.

Tips:

  • For easy moving back and forth from the refrigerator, put the cups or shot glasses on a baking dish or inside the cups of a cupcake pan.
  • You could use a flavored vodka, if you like. A cherry or berry flavored would be delicious. Whipped cream vodka is also super yummy for these types of shots. You could even use a different kind of alcohol if you prefer.
  • For even easier cleanup with these jell-o shots, serve these in plastic shot glasses or plastic cups!

Ingredients
