We were inspired by our Tipsy Mermaid Cocktail to make this fun Mimosa version with our layers of Midori melon liqueur, pineapple juice, and blue curacao. We are big Mimosa fans and love making fun variations like this one.
Mermaid Mimosa Ingredients:
- 3 ounces champagne
- 1/2 ounce of Midori
- 2 ounces pineapple juice
- 1/2 ounce of blue curaçao
- Fresh pineapple wedge for garnish
- Maraschino cherry for garnish

Directions:
Step 1: To your champagne flute, add Midori, followed by pineapple juice, champagne, and blue curacao. The ingredients will float for a fun ombre effect.

These mimosas are so much fun! We love the ombre color and how tasty this mimosa variation is. It is perfect for sipping on the beach, a Summer brunch, or even at a pool party.
What type of alcohol is in Mimosas?
Typically, champagne is the alcohol most featured in mimosas, though people do like to use Prosecco and Cava as well for another bubbly option. You can even opt for sparkling water or sparkling grape juice for a fun alcohol-free Mimosa. Just be sure your mixers don’t include alcohol, as well.
Is Prosecco the same as champagne?
Prosecco is actually a sparkling wine, but the two are very similar. Many people prefer the taste of Prosecco.
