I’m so excited to share these Hocus Pocus Jello Shots. These just say witch to me, and remind me of the Sanderson sisters, Binx, and the whole Hocus Pocus gang. They’d be perfect for serving for a Hocus Pocus movie night, or your own viewing of the new Hocus Pocus 2! The witchy vibes also make them perfect for your next Halloween party. We layered a bright green color jello and darker purple and they are so much fun. These are our favorite of all of our Halloween Jello shots.

These creepy cool jello shots are so easy to make, here’s how to make these fun layered Halloween jello shots with vodka-

Ingredients:

  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Halloween sprinkles
  • 24 (2 oz.) plastic cups

Directions:

Step 1: Place your plastic cups onto a shallow baking sheet and set aside.

Step 2: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from the heat, and whisk in both packages of lime jello into the hot water, stirring until jello is dissolved.

Step 3: Add in 1 cup cold water and 1 cup of vodka, and stir to combine.

Step 4: Add a shallow layer of lime jello to your jello cups, filling about ¼ full.

Step 5: Cover the remaining lime jello with plastic wrap and set aside for later. Move the cups to the refrigerator to chill for 1 hour.

Step 7: Add 1 cup cold water and 1 cup vodka, and stir.

Step 8: Allow the jello to cool completely, then take your jello shots from the refrigerator to add the 2nd layer, filling until the cups are about half full.

Step 9: Cover the remaining grape jello mixture with plastic wrap and set aside. Move the cups back to the refrigerator to chill for 1 hour.

Step 10: After that layer has set, grab your lime jello from earlier, and add another layer, filling the cups about ¾ full. Discard any lime jello that is left.

Step 11: Move the cups to the refrigerator, and chill for 1 hour.

Step 12; Once that layer has set, take your cups and add another layer of grape, filling the cups the rest of the way.

Step 13: Move them to the refrigerator to chill for 1 more hour, or until ready to serve.

Step 14: Before serving, top with whipped cream and Halloween sprinkles.

Hocus Pocus Jello Shot Tips
  • We went for 4 layers with these. You can make your life easier by doing 3 layers, or even just two!
  • Whipped cream melts super quickly. Add that right before serving, or you can use cool whip, and pipe it onto the shots like frosting.
  • Make these ahead of time, by buying cups that include lids, placing the lid on, and storing them in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours ahead of time.
  • You can substitute regular vodka for any flavored vodka you like. Pumpkin pie vodka would be a great way to bring some Fall flavor to these.
  • You can purchase these 2 oz. plastic shot glasses at your local grocery store, or on Amazon.
