Caramel Apple Shots FAQs
Do I have to use caramel vodka?
You can use any vodka you have on hand! If you want to make sure you still have that yummy caramel flavor, you could add some caramel sauce to the inside of your shot glass, as well. Apple vodka would be yummy, too!
Is sour apple pucker the same thing?
Yes! Sour apple pucker is one brand of sour apple mix, and it is yummy! You can definitely use it.
Can I skip the sour apple mixer?
Yes! If you prefer the apple sweetness over sour apple, you can easily omit the sour apple mixer and use red apples instead of green apples for garnish!
Can I use Fireball whiskey?
Yes! That would be a delicious option, the cinnamon flavors would go really well with the apple cider. If you like Fireball you might also like these Apple Pie Shots (coming soon!). Crown Apple would be another great liquor to use in these shots!
What if I don’t have fresh apples?
Since they are just garnish, this part is totally optional. These will be just as good without the apple slice.
